What a morning – filled with joy, recognition and hope
Our Head Students welcomed the Joint First Minister to the school with pride and we showcased a range of the amazing successes, participations and opportunities students have accessed across the last year.
Michelle presented awards to; Mr Curry UK Careers Champion, Yr 10 students Mari & Thasia who won 1st place in their category in BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition, Oisín Gates NI Future Chef winner and Mr Meegan Highly Commended Pearson Certificate for his role as Mentor & Literacy support teacher.

Engineers of the future teams MEGA- Manufacturing & Engineering Growth & Advancement
Michelle was gifted with a beautiful piece of art made by Yr 12 students Becky, Josefina & Lucia as well vegetable produce from our eco garden, Oisín made his winning Pear Frangipane for her to enjoy later and a Yr 10 Young Enterprise presented her with a pot of flowers.
The Home Economics department served home made pancakes, bacon and maple syrup
Sophie recited an extract from her winning entry in the Knights of Columbanus competition and Ciara and Mr Begley sang ‘ I See The Light’ from tangled.
