The Art and Design Department in St. Patrick’s College promotes active learning and aims to encourage students to be innovative, to develop manipulative skills, to create visual images and form critical judgement.
We aim to offer every student a rich, enjoyable Art education that had breadth, relevance and continuity and to encourage the natural abilities that every student possesses.
Students have opportunities to develop their creativity in a range of media using both traditional and digital methods. Disciplines include printmaking, ceramics, textiles, modelling, animation, graphic design, sculpture and product design.
