St. Patrick’s College Dungannon has been declared as the TES UK Entrepreneurial School 2020
Special thanks to Young Enterprise Northern Ireland who nominated us for this award – we barely dared hope we would be successful.
In the ever changing world of today’s uncertain financial and job prospect climate – enhancing the entrepreneurial skills and thinking of our students is a priority. We want to build flexible thinkers, problem solvers, collaborative workers and creative lifelong learners for the future.
We are immensely proud of the young people in our school who embrace opportunity, who give up their time after school not just for their own development but to work in teams with each other.
Our department leaders, teachers and support staff have led and innovated, they have given their time and their energy to co-ordinate and organise.
They got involved and took risks for learning, inspiring and motivating our students.
Our business and industry leaders and partners have been advocates, mentors and partners- thank you all – your investment in our young people is worth it.
This is indeed a school award and it took many people to make it happen!
